Northwolf’s heavy cutting pad is an extremely high strength detailing pad, suitable for use with most heavy cut compounds, we suggest using this pad when heavy swirls or oxidization is present, this pad provides high levels of cut and requires a second step to remove the cutting step done by this pad. This pad should only be used when extremely heavy damage is present, for all other heavy cutting requirements, we suggest using the Green cutting pad. We suggest pairing this pad with any of our heavy cutting compounds to get the best possible results from your pad. We suggest using these pads with either a DA or Rotary polisher and are ideal for the initial cutting stage to remove the majority of visible swirls, scratches and staining present. We suggest following up with a second step with our Yellow Light Cutting pad. To finish (if required), use either the Orange Light Polishing Pad or the Black Finishing Pad. We have a variety of suggested heavy cut compounds proven to work well with this pad:
Angelwax Resurrection Extreme, Angelwax Resurrection, Ewocar Heavy Cut+, Zvizzer PC5000.
You can clean your polishing pad with a combination of our Nail Brush & Pad Cleaner or our Pad Revive 2.0 & Pad Washer system.
