Carnelian – Gentle foam with an Alkaline pH
As part of your detailing process, the Pre-wash process is the basis for achieving effective cleaning without excessive scrubbing during your contact wash. Carnelian is a highly concentrated alkaline based foam, featuring a thick consistency which further penetrates deep into the layer of dirt and grime across the vehicle. Despite the Alkaline pH, Carnelian is safe for cleaning all exterior surfaces including chrome and plastics, leaving them thoroughly degreased and ready for the final contact wash. Carnelian also contains vital corrosion inhibitors to protect the paint and chassis.
Directions for use:
- This product comes in a concentrate format, we suggest using a 2-10% dilution ratio depending on the level of contamination present.
- We suggest using one of our Snow Foam Lances or Pressure Sprayers to apply this product.
- Make sure the vehicle is cool to the touch and has not been driven hard before the pre-wash process.
- Apply the product using a suitable Snow Foam Lance or Pressure Sprayer and allow the product to dwell but not dry. Avoid allowing the product to dwell in direct sunlight.
- We suggest a dwell time of 1-2 minutes, for heavily soiled vehicles, a second application may be necessary for a safer contact wash.
- Rinse thoroughly starting from the lower parts of the vehicle to allow the product on top to continue working.
